Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at (843) 399-4400 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Leasing allows you to drive a new Chevrolet for a set term (typically 24–48 months) with lower monthly payments compared to financing a purchase. At the end of your lease, you can return the vehicle, trade it, sell it, or keep it. Buying means you own the vehicle outright once your loan is paid off, often with higher monthly payments but no mileage restrictions.

  • Lower monthly payments compared to buying

  • Ability to drive a new vehicle every 2–4 years

  • Full manufacturer warranty coverage during the lease term

  • Reduced maintenance costs due to driving a newer vehicle

  • Multiple options at lease-end: Return it, Trade it, Sell it, or Keep it

Standard leases typically come with 10,000, 12,000, or 15,000 miles per year. Beach Chevrolet also offers customizable mileage options to fit your driving habits. Exceeding your mileage limit may result in additional charges at lease-end, so it’s important to select the right plan.

When your lease ends, you have four flexible options:

  1. Return it – Drop the vehicle off at Beach Chevrolet and walk away, as long as mileage and condition terms are met.

  2. Trade it – Use your leased vehicle as a trade-in toward your next lease or purchase.

  3. Sell it – If your lease vehicle is worth more than the residual value, you can sell it and keep the equity.

  4. Keep it – Purchase your leased Chevrolet at the predetermined buyout price and own it outright.

Potential lease-end charges may include excess wear and tear, mileage overages, or early termination fees if you end your lease early. Beach Chevrolet will review all terms with you upfront to ensure there are no surprises.

Absolutely! Beach Chevrolet accepts trade-ins, and any equity in your current vehicle can be applied toward your lease to reduce your upfront costs or monthly payments.
